The national immunization information hotline is now available to respond to questions about vaccinations, vaccine-preventable diseases, and vaccines. The hotline serves consumers and health-care professionals. The most frequently asked questions include those related to new vaccines, new vaccination schedules, and vaccine safety. To access the information, call (800) 232-2522 (in Spanish {800} 232-0233). The hotline operates from 8 a.m. to 11 p.m., Monday through Friday, with a voice-mail system available at all other times.
