In the public health achievements report, "Changes in the
Public Health System," the date the Conference (now Council) of State and Territorial Epidemiologists (CSTE) was granted authority
to determine what diseases should be reported by states to the Public Health Service was 1951, not 1950 as incorrectly
published in the first paragraph on page 1143.
