What is EH Nexus

The air we breathe, the food we eat, the water we drink, and other aspects of the environment in which we live, work, and play all have a direct impact on our health. Our environment also plays a crucial role in preventing or mitigating the spread of infectious diseases. Every community has a different level of environmental health risk. Racial and ethnic minority groups and people with limited resources are often disproportionately affected.

EH Nexus is a communication network that shares information about environmental public health topics. The network was created to help CDC actively communicate about environmental public health with interested members of the public and public health colleagues whose work involves environmental health concerns.
